day 1
early sept we were moved to mersing, johor. we spent 4 days at tioman island. started our journey from kl to mersing via highway instead of federal road towards southern.
kluang was our first stop and took light lunch at kluang station cafe beside kluang railway station. very old cafe remain nostalgic with condition.
arrived at mersing and checked in motel near main road there. we still got time to recce for tomorrow ferry jetty and boat ticket for all of us.
day2
early morning we bought ticket at jetty. estimated ferry moves to tioman island around 1130am. actually at mersing a lot of motel and food restaurant. you don't need to worry. everything just walking distance.
ferry moved a litlle bit late, so we arrived tioman about 330pm. at tioman island there are 4 jetties and you must know which jetty you should take. for us, jetty tekek because we booked berjaya resort for us accommodation.
main reason we went to island because we want to spend our time with kids. let them play with sand beach and swimming pool. a lot of expatriate here. clean beach and heaven for diver to see coral.
day3
we decided to nearby jetty to experience a variety of fish. we went to duty free shop as well. and most of the time we had lunch and dinner at outside restaurant in front of our resort.

it is easy to buy ferry ticket but you need to find them early morning even the departure time is around 11pm above. at jetty you need to register at ferry counter. and you will receive boarding pass.
you required to write your name and details in case of emergency. and just buy a some food to eat during journey to tioman. at least 3 hours man! off course you are hungry!

we headed to KL. yes were happy. hopefully next time we plan to east coast island like kapas island.
